What's Next?

Below is a list of all I have to do next term. However as I spent a vast part of this term working on El Bandito the real work for YMCA starts next term. A schedule is already worked out and all are aware of what is required for them next term. I am aiming to have everything done ready to animate in term 3. My portfolio for El Bandito centres around design and texturing. My portfolio for YMCA centres around design, texturing and animation.

so what's in store next term for ‘King of the World’.

I will design the background. Space, UFO's Deck, New York, Wild West, Roadside and inside of the Spaceship (dance floor)

Next design the motorbike and car.

The team will build all the backgrounds and the 4 main characters. Also I'll be looking to build and rig the 4 manikins.

Next build and rig the space ship and other props.

Build the backgrounds. Although most of the backgrounds are 2D there will be some 3D as well in these shots.

I'm writing some lines up for the voice of Bob and we will be looking to record them late January.
Interestingly I'm not looking to replicate the script word for word, but am looking for some ad-lib.

Then I shall be meeting with my sound designer to thrash out some ideas, early February.

Next I'll be doing a new animatic from scratch. This one is to sort out the timing.

This should mean we will be set up to animate in term 3.
